I just returned from a fantastic experience at this resort. You might not expect to have world-class cuisine at a floating fishing resort, or rooms with views of eagles diving for fish through large windows, but this Nootka Sound Resort is best in class. If you are going to make the trip to go fishing in the pristine waters of the Nootka Sound, it is best to do it in style. The rooms have full hot showers with contemporary fixtures and the beds are incredibly comfortable at the end of a day of catching fish.

Recently stayed four nights at Nootka Sound Resort. Comfort, Food, Staff all were 5+ Stars. Really is a beautiful, quiet place to chill and detox from business. No phone service, but wifi. Make sure to go on a trip to Historic Friendly Cove. If you are lucky you might get to met a resident carver and also the Light house Keepers.
