The Right Choice

Everyone had great things to say about our choice of venue and especially that the Inn was able to host everything we needed for the wedding in one centrally located place. The staff was also wonderful and the food was to die for, just as it had been during our tasting. The venue representatives were also so communicative and informative throughout the entire process. We felt very well cared for and they never made us worry we were asking too many questions. Couldn't be happier we got married here.

The Inn at the Quay is an Amazing Wedding Venue

The Inn at the Quay is a remarkable venue for a Wedding. It is centrally located in Metro Vancouver for in town guests, and has great accommodations for out of town guests. The attention to detail was amazing, right down to the customized ‘do not disturb’ signs that all of our guests staying at the hotel received. The ballroom has a nice layout with a wrap around patio for your guests to enjoy. We opted to have the buffet in a meeting room down the hall and had the bar in the foyer so that guests could mingle and hang out without interrupting the ambience and flow in the ballroom. The event coordinator Shayla and the catering staff were amazing and on point, working with our wedding planner to deliver an evening that exceeded our expectations. The food is catered by the Boathouse Restaurant which is an upscale Vancouver restaurant, and it is amazing. Our guests gave us rave reviews over the food and the venue. Finally, surprisingly the venue rental cost was incredibly reasonable, which allowed us to spend more on food. We would highly recommend the Inn at the Quay as a Wedding venue!!

Perfect Pet Friendly Venue!

Working with Alvaro (catering manager) at Inn at the Quay for our May wedding was wonderful. He had great communication with us every step of the way, from the initial tour of the venue and all the way through. He made the process easy for us. The catering by The Boathouse was phenomenal. Our guests are still raving about how it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding! Chef Brook and team were so flexible at accommodating our requests. Shayla (Events Coordinator) did an amazing job on our wedding day to coordinate everything between the hotel, catering and us. The Inn and the Quay is pet-friendly and was very accommodating to make our dog part of our wedding (ceremony and reception). This is something that we did not find at any other venue! Everyone we worked with here was experienced, thoughtful and kind. We are so glad we chose the Inn at the Quay, it truly is a special venue! We would highly recommend anyone to consider this venue for their wedding day.

So glad we got to host our wedding ceremony at Inn at the Quay!

The staff at the Inn at the Quay are super easy to work with. Very professional and accommodating! Particularly Melissa and Shayla. I mainly was in contact with Melissa at first, but I got to meet Melissa and Shayla in person when we went to tour the venue before making our decision on a venue. Super nice and to the point when you ask them questions - no beating around the bush! My husband and I really loved the impression we got from the tour and we're so glad we went with this venue.
We wanted to do a Chinese tea ceremony, wedding ceremony, and dinner reception all in one day and hopefully in a similar location, and Inn at the Quay fulfilled that for us! We got to rent the Hyack room for both the wedding ceremony and dinner reception, and rented the Riverside room for the Chinese tea ceremony. There's such a great view in both rooms! It was super convenient for us to have everything on the same floor. We also booked a hotel room to be at the venue the night before so we were ready for the big day the next day, as well as a hospitality room for myself and the bridal party to get ready in. Melissa would always reply to my messages promptly, and be very responsive. She's meticulous and I felt at ease that we got all our bases covered. She responded positively to feedback and replied to our emails on editing the drink tickets to be in the colours of our wedding theme very quickly. Shayla was the one that helped us during the day of our wedding though. She nailed everything wonderfully despite not being the person I was mainly contacting. On the day of, she thought of everything to make my life easier even when I hadn't thought of it myself! Her experience and knowledge speaks through all the small things and big tasks she got to do for us that added up and really made a difference in making our wedding day better than we had imagined. Sadly, I didn't get to eat as much of all the great food that was served that night with being the bride and running around greeting all the guests, but we heard nothing but compliments from everyone that attended (particularly the mushroom ravioli!) We're so glad we got to choose the "Create-Your-Own Buffet" package. It fit our needs to have a little bit of everything for everyone! If you're looking for a venue to hold an intimate wedding while also being flexible and reasonably priced - look no further!
